Test and balance (T&B) is the process of measuring air volumes and making appropriate adjustments to various components of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure occupant comfort is achieved at maximum efficiency.
This Test and Balance process involves a technician/s performing initial plan review, site inspection and data collection. Followed by calculating and completing appropriate adjustments to fan speeds, dampers, registers and other components. And verifying the resulting air flows to ensure conformance with engineer's design.
Lastly a comprehensive Test and Balance report is prepare detailing the raw data collected, measured results and any applicable observations and recommendations.
Our reports are first reviewed, signed & sealed by a certified P.E.(Professional Engineer) before submitted to the customer.
